Yarmouth’s Climate Action Task Force has scheduled “Rewild Yarmouth” events in June in an effort to support eco-friendly living.
The events start at 10 a.m. June 9 with a Nature Walk and Work Day dedicated to identifying and removing invasive species at Littlejohn Island Preserve. Royal River Conservation Trust will help with this event.
A guided meadow walk will take place at 9 a.m. June 12 at Fels Grove Meadow, where attendees can learn about native plant identification with the Wild Seed Project.
The final event will take place at 317 Main Community Music Center at 6 p.m. June 12 at 6 pm., when Aaron Parker from Edgewood Nursery will speak on sustainable gardening for habitat protection.
