Please vote Megan Lichter for the SAD 51 School Board.
I have known Megan Lichter and her family for six years. She is an intelligent, thoughtful and compassionate person. Our school district would be so fortunate to have her time and energy dedicated to fostering communication and compromise within it. She is ready to ensure that our schools are safe spaces for all students to learn, discover and thrive.
I know she will ensure that the board continues to foster efforts that promote global citizenship. She no doubt will continue to give back to our community and model volunteerism to our children. She is very active in promoting health and well-being in our community, both in her job as a nurse practitioner and while volunteering at the Portland Community Free Clinic. She sees and stands by everyone in our community.
I look forward to her many talents being shared with our school board.
