As a Cumberland resident and parent of fifth and eighth graders, I offer my full personal endorsement of Megan Lichter as an important voice and ear to be included on the SAD 51 School Board.
She is committed to progress while safeguarding that which we value in our schools presently. These include quality education, safety, equality and equity, each of which is necessary to ensure the success of all SAD 51 students. She is running to ensure that SAD 51 continues to prioritize these issues.
Our communities will be challenged with many difficult decisions moving forward regarding growth. Especially during this time, it is necessary that we have a school board whose strengths include listening, understanding, clarity and transparency to help navigate all eventualities. In my experience, these are all qualities Lichter possesses.
Please join me this June 13 in voting Megan Lichter for school board.
