Hires, promotions, appointments
Anne Dalton and Robert Hunter of Falmouth have been appointed to the Southern Maine Agency on Aging board of directors. Dalton is the senior relations specialist and head of governance at the Association of Junior Leagues International, as well as the chairperson of United Way of Greater Portland and president of the Portland Public Library board of trustees. Hunter is the vice president of finance at MaineHealth.
Chris Thomson has been appointed MaineHealth’s chief medical and transformation officer. He had been vice president and physician executive at Centura Health in Denver, Colorado, since 2021, and before that was senior vice president and system chief medical officer at Centra Health in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he worked for 12 years.
Rick Moore was promoted to chief loan officer at Maine Savings Federal Credit Union. He is also the chairperson of the loan committee.
Doreen Andriola joined RE/MAX Shoreline as a real estate agent, serving Maine and New Hampshire.
Recognition
Earning Good Food Awards recently from the Good Food Foundation are Maine Beer Company in Freeport for their Little Whaleboat IPA, created in association with the Maine Coast Heritage Trust; Liquid Riot Bottling Co. in Portland, beer and spirits; Dean’s Sweets in Portland, confections; Ragged Coast in Westbrook, chocolate confections; and Maine Coast Fishermen’s Association in Brunswick, fish.
The Highlands retirement community in Topsham has received Best Assisted Living and Best Memory Care awards from U.S. News & World Report. Bay Square in Yarmouth also earned a Best Assisted Living award from the magazine.

Kennebec Savings Bank opened a branch location at 53 Baxter Boulevard in Portland May 16.
