Brooke Gerry went 4 for 5 as Windham topped South Portland/Westbrook 13-2 Monday in a softball game at South Portland.
Hannah Heanssler and Addie Caiazzo each had multihit games for Windham (9-1), which finished with 19 hits. Kennedy Kimball went the distance, allowing two runs on nine hits, fanning nine.
Ella Nickerson and Grace Wallace had two hits apiece for the Red Riots (8-3).
BIDDEFORD 4, KENNEBUNK/SANFORD 3: Kayla Magnant scored on a Hannah Lappin sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh as the Tigers (9-1) outlasted the Rams (8-1) at Kennebunk.
Baylor Wilkinson had a pair of hits for Biddeford, and starter Charlotte Donovan allowed three runs on five hits, striking out six and walking three. She had a double and single.
Julia Pike suffered the lost for Kennebunk/Sanford, going the distance, allowing four runs on eight hits, fanning 11 and walking three.
LAKE REGION 4, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Kylie Myers had a pair of hits to lead the offense and Melissa Mayo threw a three-hitter, fanning 14 and walking three as the Lakers (7-1) blanked the Raiders (4-7) at Naples.
Mayo had an RBI triple in the two-run fourth inning, and Laura Dutton and Emily Rock chipped in with hits.
Brooke Gerry had a double for Fryeburg Academy.
BRUNSWICK 11, MT. ARARAT 3: Ellie Sullivan went the distance, allowing three runs on three hits, striking out eight, and added an RBI single, a run-scoring double and solo home run as the Dragons (6-3) beat the Eagles (0-9) at Brunswick.
Mt. Ararat took the early lead with two runs in the top of the first on Kennedy Lampert’s home run, but Brunswick rallied in the bottom of the third, paced by Sullivan’s RBI double.
GORHAM 12, MARSHWOOD/BERWICK 2: Amber Bretton had three hits, including a triple and double, for the Rams (7-3) as they defeated the Hawks (6-5) in a five-inning game at Gorham.
Sophia Dephillip had a pair of doubles for Gorham, Andi Cloutier added a pair of hits and Kyleah Mack chipped in with a triple.
Emily Hester had a double for Marshwood/Berwick.
NOBLE 9, DEERING 1: Kiersten Davis collected eight strikeouts, allowing one run on four hits as the Knights (2-9) pulled away early and defeated the Rams (1-10) in Portland.
Olivia Ross had a double in the second inning for Noble.
POLAND 24, CAPE ELIZABETH 1: Olivia Rioux had four hits and drove in four runs, and Syndey Lacombe added four hits and three RBI as the Knights (9-1) beat the Capers (5-4) in a four-inning game at Poland.
Khloe O’Leary and Nicole Rioux each had a triple and a single, combining to drive in five runs for Poland.
Gretchyn Paradis threw a one-hitter, striking out five for the Knights and added a pair of hits.
Sofia Chung had an RBI for Cape in the top of the first.
GREELY 8, YARMOUTH 0: The Rangers (3-8) opened with a run in the bottom of the second on Sophie Smith fielder’s choice and added three more in the fourth, paced by Maia Wright’s home run as they pulled away from the Clippers (3-6) at Cumberland.
Katherine Wallace, Lucy Axelson, Fiona MacArthur and Wright all had multihit games for Greely.
Avery Butler threw a seven-hit shutout for the Rangers, striking out four. Butler added a pair of hits.
SACOPEE VALLEY 15, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 4: The Hawks (7-4) scored 10 runs in the top of the first and rolled past the Seagulls (2-9) at Old Orchard Beach.
Keira Greene, Julia Tuthill, Brianna Eastman and Jillian Phillips each had a pair of hits for Sacopee Valley.
Abby Sanborn picked up the win, throwing three scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and striking out five.
YORK 8, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Madison Raymond struck out 15 and scattered five hits as the Wildcats (10-1) downed the Patriots (5-5) in Gray.
McKayla Kortes and Ella Hickey each doubled, Raymond drove in a run and No. 9 hitter Ava Brent had a pair of hits.
Ryenne Grant doubled and singled and Heather Nevells also had two hits for Gray-New Gloucester. Novinha Comtois drove in the Patriots’ run in the fifth.
LACROSSE
MARSHWOOD 17, YORK 10: Sarah Theriault had eight goals and two assists, leading the Hawks (6-2) to a win over the Wildcats (5-4) in York.
Izzy Young added four goals and two assists for Marshwood, and Madison Poitras put up three goals. Lauren Walker racked up seven saves.
Sophia Luchette led York with three goals and Tia Spenlinhauer made five saves.
LINCOLN ACADEMY 6, OCEANSIDE 5: Gabby Tolman tied the game for the Mariners (2-7) with 13 seconds left in regulation, but Marley LeBel scored in the final seconds to give the Eagles (6-2) the edge at Newcastle.
LeBel finished with five goals. Celia Brinker also scored for Lincoln and Hunter Gilmore made seven saves.
Tolman led Oceanside with two goals.
FREEPORT 13, WAYNFLETE 7: Lana DiRusso had five goals and one assist and Kate Tracy added four goals and an assist as the Falcons (8-1) downed the Flyers (1-7) at Freeport.
