McKayla Kortes threw a no-hitter with nine strikeouts as the York softball team improved to 7-1 with a 6-0 win over Morse on Monday in York.

Emily Estes hit a two-run single in the fourth inning to give York the lead. Carlie Welch and Ella Hickey added RBI hits in a three-run fifth. Ella Moon had a single and double for York.

Cam Johnson of Morse struck out seven for the Shipbuilders (5-3).

SCARBOROUGH 3, MARSHWOOD/BERWICK 0: Natalie Moynihan pitched a two-hitter with 14 strikeouts and Angelina Pizzella drove in two runs as the Red Storm (6-1) beat the Hawks (5-2) in Scarborough.

Avery Charland had two hits for Scarborough.

MASSABESIC 19, PORTLAND 18: Freshman Ella Gerrish doubled in pinch-runner Katie Lessard from first base with no outs in the seventh inning, giving Massabesic (3-4) a walk-off victory against Portland (2-4) at Waterboro.

Massabesic, which finished with 20 hits, scored seven runs in the second and Portland answered with six in the sixth.

WINDHAM 10, DEERING 0: Kennedy Kimball struck out 13, walked none and allowed two hits in a complete game as the Eagles (6-1) beat the visiting Rams (1-7).

Brooke Gerry went 3 for 3 to lead Windham, with Kimball and Stella Jarvais adding two hits each. Chloe Edwards added a fourth-inning home run.

KENNEBUNK/SANFORD 5, SOUTH PORTLAND/WESTBROOK 2: Julia Pike pitched a three-hitter, and also hit two triples and a double to lead Kennebunk/Sanford (6-0) over visiting South Portland (6-2).

Kennebunk/Sanford scored two runs in the third, then put it away with a three-run fifth, including RBI doubles by Madison Sheppard and Skylar Holder, then Pike’s run-scoring triple.

ST. DOMINIC 18, TRAIP ACADEMY 8: Ava Apodaca had a double and triple with four RBI as the Saints (4-3) beat the Rangers (0-5) in Auburn.

Emily Andrews, Sophie Franciose and Ellia Dick each had a double with Franciose driving in three runs. Andrews threw a complete game, allowing four hits and striking out eight with 12 walks.

Emme Hale had a triple and RBI while Hannah Thorsen added two hits for Traip.

POLAND 17, YARMOUTH 7: Gretchyn Paradis pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts and added five RBI as the Knights (7-1) topped the Clippers (1-4) in five innings in Poland.

Paradis and Khloe O’Leary each had a double and a single for Poland, and O’Leary had three RBI.

Drea Rideout had an RBI triple for Yarmouth.

LAKE REGION 3, GREELY 1: Lyla Levesque drove in two runs on a groundout in the top of the sixth to break a 1-1 tie as the Lakers (5-0) beat the Rangers (1-7) in Cumberland.

Margo Tremblay had an RBI double in the first for Lake Region and finished with two hits while pitcher Melissa Mayo struck out 14 and also added two singles at the plate.

Avery Butler had an RBI for Greely.

CHEVERUS 15, BONNY EAGLE 4: Cheverus (3-2) scored six runs in the second inning and five in the third to beat Bonny Eagle (1-6) at Portland.

The Stags had just six hits but were aided by seven walks, three errors and six stolen steals, including three by Elle Picard.

Lealea Cabading hit a three-run homer for Bonny Eagle.

BIDDEFORD 15, NOBLE 0: Charlotte Donovan pitched a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts and one walk and the Tigers (6-1) scored eight runs in the fourth inning to pull away from Noble (1-7) in five innings at Biddeford.

Baylor Wilkinson hit a two-run homer in the first and Hannah Lappin added a two-run homer in the fourth for Biddeford, which totaled 16 hits and didn’t commit an error.

LACROSSE

BONNY EAGLE 8, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/POLAND 7: Lauren Manson and Julia Ryan each scored three goals as the Scots (2-4) beat the Patriots (0-6) in Gray.

Kathryn Fullerton and Peyton Cobb also scored for Bonny Eagle.

Andrea Smith had four goals and an assist for the Patriots while Jennah Lynch, Sam Poulin and Amelia Foster also scored. Mya Page made 10 saves.

WELLS 15, WESTBROOK 1: Cali Leighton had four goals and two assists as the Warriors (6-1) beat the Blue Blazes (1-5) in Westbrook.

Anna Woodward and Caitlin Rooney each scored three goals for Wells. Izzy Leslie scored twice and Kendall Maxon and Summer Sullivan both had a goal and two assists.

PORTLAND 8, LEWISTON 2: Eliza Stein scored four goals, and Elizabeth Littell aded two goals and an assist as Portland (6-1) handled the Blue Devils (1-6) at Lewiston.

Sydney Trefethen and Gabriella Harrigan also scored for the Bulldogs. Caitlin D’Andrea and Julia Perkins answered for Lewiston.
