PORTLAND – In loving memory of Emma L. Davis Roberts, wife, mother, grandmother, family member and friend. The Lord called her home on April 29, 2023 and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

She worked as a nursing assistant at Maine Medical Center in both the Medical Clinic ER and also on R-2 until she retired from Maine Med.

Emma loved cooking for the holidays and enjoyed eating and spending time with her family. In her free time she found adult puzzle books and putting puzzles together to be extremely relaxing, as well as her love for the outdoors and soaking up the sun. She sang in the choir and was a member of the Green Memorial AME Zion Church.

She was predeceased by husband, Eugene Roberts Sr.; son, Eugene Roberts Jr;. and also granddaughter, Keya Marie Thomas.

Emma is survived by her six children, Carmen, Anna, Laquette, Katherine, Donald, and Ricardo. She also leaves behind several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and Sister Eugenia Davis Williams.

A visitation will be held Thursday May 11, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Jones, Rich and Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St., Portland.
