Kennebunk set a girls’ lacrosse state record with its 37th consecutive victory Friday, 15-5 over visiting Yarmouth.
Ruby Sliwkowski scored five goals and added six assists, Ivy Armentrout added four goals, and freshman Camdyn Keenan contributed three for the Rams (5-0), who got nine saves from Lizzy Hayes in a rematch of last year’s Class A state championship game.
The Clippers (3-1) were paced by three goals from Lauren Keaney. Neena Panozzo scored twice and Regan Sullivan made six saves.
FALMOUTH 17, BIDDEFORD 5: Sloane Ginevan netted five goals and Peaches Stucker added three as the Navigators (1-1) downed the Tigers (4-1) in Biddeford.
Keira Alcock and Adelaide Tolley contributed two goals apiece for Falmouth. Patty Riley made nine saves.
Abby Bouffard led Biddeford with three goals and Cece Keller had two. Nataliah Martinez turned away 18 shots.
WELLS 7, WAYNFLETE 5: Cali Leighton, Caitlin Rooney and Anna Woodward scored two goals apiece as the Warriors (3-1) defeated the Flyers (0-3) in Wells.
Summer Sullivan added a goal and four assists. Wells goalie Kayla Bolton made 12 saves.
Lydia Birknes led Waynflete with three goals and Tilsley Kelly scored twice. Eliza Moorhead had three saves.
CAPE ELIZABETH 6, MASSABESIC 5: Phoebe Altenburg scored twice, Laura Clark had a goal and three assists, and the Capers (1-2) edged the Mustangs (0-5) in Cape Elizabeth.
Campbell DeGeorge chipped in with a goal and two assists. Kaity Woods and Libby Hooper also scored for Cape.
Massabesic got two goals from Lydia DesRochers and one each from Sophia DesVergnes, Mackenzie Nason and Marleigh Roy.
MARSHWOOD 10, GORHAM 6: Sarah Theriault scored three goals, and Eva Hersey, Madison Poitras and Isabelle Young each had two as the Hawks (3-1) handled the Rams (1-2) in Gorham.
Ellie Gay, Hannah Bickford and Miranda Chasse each scored twice, and Ellie Keil stopped five shots for Gorham.
Lauren Walker made five saves for Marshwood.
SOFTBALL
BIDDEFORD 7, THORNTON ACADEMY 2: Baylor Wilkinson went 4 for 4 with a double and three RBI to lead the Tigers (2-1) over the Trojans (0-2) in Biddeford.
Charlotte Donovan allowed five hits and struck out three to earn the win.
YORK 8, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 4: Ella Moon had three hits, driving in three runs with two-out singles, and Maddie Raymond and McKayla Kortes hit back-to-back home runs as the Wildcats (3-0) defeated the Raiders (2-2) in York.
Raymond, Kortes and Maddie Fitzgerald each had two hits, including a triple for Fitzgerald. Kortes was also the winning pitcher, with eight strikeouts.
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 7, MARANACOOK 2: The Panthers (3-0) scored four runs in the sixth inning to pull away for a win in Yarmouth.
Winning pitcher Lily Rawnsley allowed three hits while striking out five.
Natalie Deane had two singles for the Black Bears (2-1).
LAKE REGION 11, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Margo Tremblay finished a home run short of the cycle as the Lakers (2-0) beat the Patriots (1-4) in Gray.
Tremblay drove in three runs and scored three times. Lyla Levesque, Laura Dutton and Emily Rock also doubled for Lake Region. Melissa Mayo allowed just three hits and struck out 16.
Audrey Getchell, the losing pitcher, had two hits for Gray-New Gloucester. Skye Chandler got the other hit and drove in the Patriots’ lone run in the fourth inning.
PORTLAND 15, BONNY EAGLE 7: Hannah Hawkes collected four hits, including two doubles, and struck out seven in five innings of relief as the Bulldogs (2-1) beat the Scots (0-3) at Portland.
After Bonny Eagle scored four in the top of the first, Portland answered with five in the bottom half, then built a 12-6 lead through three innings.
Hadleigh McPartlan added three hits and drove in five runs for the Bulldogs.
Lealea Cabading had two singles and scored a run for Bonny Eagle.
CHEVERUS 10, NOBLE 1: Haley Lamontagne pitched a three-hitter and helped lead the offense with two hits, and RBI and two runs scored as the Stags (1-1) rolled past the Knights (1-2) in Portland.
Bella Napolitano Aberle hit a two-run single.
MASSABESIC 19, DEERING 2: Winning pitcher Katelyn Boissonneault hit a three-run double, and Katie Lessard, Kendall Pelletier, Emilee Petin-Kendrick and Emelia Theriault all smacked two-run doubles as the Mustangs (1-2) rolled to a five-inning win over the Rams (0-3) in Waterboro.
Massabesic scored 11 runs in the second inning.
Ally Brady and Kira Siteman each drove in a run for Deering.
EDWARD LITTLE 11, GREELY 1: Kassidy Lobb pitched a three-hitter and contributed three hits in a five-inning win for the Red Eddies (2-2) against the Rangers (1-4) in Auburn.
Edward Little seized control with a six-run second inning, capped by Leah Thibodeau’s two-run triple. Thibodeau put the mercy rule into effect with an RBI double in the fifth.
Sami Santerre had a hit and scored a run for Greely.
SKOWHEGAN 8, MT. ARARAT 0: Carlie Jarvais pitched a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts as the River Hawks (5-0) defeated the Eagles (0-2) at Topsham.
Jarvais walked one.
Jackie Dodge and Callaway LePage had four hits apiece. Lydia James added two hits.
LISBON 24, WISCASSET/BOOTHBAY 2: The Greyhounds (2-0) scored 11 runs in the third inning on the way to a five-inning win over the Wolverines (0-4) in Lisbon.
Sara Applebee and Anna Strozier scored for Wiscasset/Boothbay in the fourth inning.
