CLASS C GIRLS
WHO: Dexter (20-1) vs. Old Orchard Beach (18-3)
WHEN: 6:05 p.m. Tuesday
WHERE: Cross Insurance Center, Bangor
TV: MPBN
KEY PLAYERS: Dexter – Cally Gudroe, sr., G (10.4 points, 3.1 assists, 3.5 steals); Mazie Peach, jr., F (7.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.9 blocks); Hannah Dean, jr., F (7.8 points, 7.9 rebounds); Abby Corson, so., G (5.4 points, 2.9 steals). Old Orchard Beach – Elise MacNair, sr., G (24.9 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 4.3 steals); Summer St. Louis, sr., G (5.5 points, 6.9 rebounds); Tessa Ferguson, so., G (8.6 points); Sarah Davis, jr., F (10.1 points, 6.0 rebounds).
WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Can MacNair deliver in a big way again? The senior has been one of the biggest stories of the postseason, averaging 29.3 points across the Seagulls’ three victories. St. Louis, Ferguson and Davis play key roles, but MacNair is who Old Orchard Beach counts on for big rebounds, defensive plays and baskets. Dexter, however, has the kind of balance that could give the Seagulls fits. The 6-foot-2 Peach averaged over 13 points and 13 rebounds in the C North tournament en route to MVP recognition, and Corson is a good 3-point shooter who can’t be left alone. The Tigers are a solid defensive team, but MacNair will be perhaps their biggest challenge of the season.

CLASS B BOYS
WHO: Orono (18-3) vs. Oceanside (20-1)
WHEN: 7:45 p.m. Tuesday
WHERE: Portland Expo
TV: MPBN
KEY PLAYERS: Orono – Pierce Walston, jr., G (17.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.9 assists); Ben Francis, jr., F (11.8 points); Will Francis, soph., F (9.2 points, 6.3 rebounds). Oceanside – Carter Galley, jr., G (21.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 72 3-pointers); Cohen Galley, jr., G (16.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists); Zeb Foster, soph., G (9.5 points, 3.2 assists); Alex Collins, sr., F/C (11.5 points, 7.1 rebounds).
WHAT TO WATCH FOR: When Carter Galley goes on a hot streak, and he usually does, it can be explosive. Against Yarmouth in the South final he made eight of his first nine shots, including five 3-pointers. … Twin brother Cohen Galley can shoot from deep but is more likely to get points at the rim. … Any inside scoring from Collins and Alex Bartlett would be a boon for Oceanside, looking for its first state title in its second championship appearance (Class A 2016). … Orono Coach Ed Kohtala, a 1981 Mt. Blue graduate, was a college assistant coach at Florida, Clemson, and Texas. He took over in 2018-19. … Walston is a scoring point guard. … Orono has jumped to quick leads in the first quarter of its three playoff games. Orono is in its first state final since a 1996 Class B loss to Gorham. Orono’s last state title was in 1981.
