BRUNSWICK — Trevor Gerrish broke a tie with three seconds remaining to lift Brunswick past Mt. Ararat 45-41 in boys basketball action Thursday.
Gerrish finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Dragons (6-12) while Thomas Harvey scored 18 points.
Kasey Bergeron led Mt. Ararat (9-9) with nine points.
BIDDEFORD 72, MORSE 51: Julius Silvia finished with 27 points and buried seven 3-pointers, tying the school record and leading the Tigers (5-13) to a comfortable victory over the Shipbuilders (2-16) on the road in Bath.
Drew Smyth chipped in 15 points for Biddeford and Travis Edgerton had 13.
Gabe Morrison’s 13 points led Morse.
TEMPLE 56, PINE TREE 44: Nathan Corey hit seven 3-pointers and finished with 24 points as the Bereans (6-11) beat the Breakers (0-14) in Waterville.
Peyton Reckards added 15 points for Temple.
Samuel Batista led Pine Tree with nine points.
