Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the trust you’ve placed in me to serve as our next
county commissioner for Saco, Old Orchard Beach, Hollis, and Buxton over the next four years.
After serving as your senator and representative in the Legislature for eight years, serving a term
on the State Board of Education, and currently as a state appointee on the Maine Right to Know
Advisory Committee, I’m honored with this opportunity to continue public service.
There is a lot of work ahead to ensure we have a county government that will work better for all
of us. It must start with making government more accessible. First on the docket is changing
afternoon meetings to the evening to increase opportunities for working Mainers to attend. Look
out for updates on how I plan to keep you more informed and involved in county commission
decisions, including a new district website, monthly video series, an email newsletter, and more.
The swearing-in ceremony is set for early January. As always, this is your seat and I work for
you.
