Re: The Associated Press article “Many Americans critical about state of U.S. democracy” (Oct. 20, Page A1):

The USA has the longest-running so-called democracy of any advanced country. There’s been more than ample time for the wealthy political right to infiltrate and corrupt a government for their selfish needs.

When “corporations are people” and “money is free speech,” one knows the end of democracy is near.
