As a 32-year retired deputy corrections officer, leader of two law enforcement benevolent associations and a lifelong Republican, I am urging everybody to reelect Democrat Bill King as York County sheriff. I know both candidates and have heard them speak about the issues facing the sheriff’s office. While Bill is optimistic and forward thinking, his opponent is not. Sheriff King’s opponent is mired in the past and wants to go back to the “good ol’ ways.”
Under Sheriff King’s leadership, the York County jail attained a 100 percent rating in all mandatory standards. The patrol division just became state accredited! Sheriff King has continued to maintain his law enforcement certification and has taken additional courses in the last few years to gain additional certifications that his opponent has not.
Please join me and many other Democrats, and informed Republicans, and reelect Sheriff Bill King
