POWNAL – Jennifer joined her beloved mother, Dora and her son, Ethan with the Lord unexpectedly Thursday Aug. 11, 2022, at home in Pownal.

She was born Jennifer Leigh Walker to Dora Wiers and Richard Walker Oct. 26, 1976 in Portland. She graduated with the class of 1995 from Freeport High School. Then went to SMTC for Behavioral Sciences.

She leaves behind her sons Jacob and Kyle Ward of Pownal, her stepchildren Amber and Jacob Martin Wiers; the love of her life of 16 years, Perry Picard of Pownal; her grandchildren Noah and Aleah Ward; her stepfather, Peter Wiers of Pownal; her stepsiblings Pete Wiers (Nicki) of Topsham, Chris Bangs (Max) of Windham, Nicole Keary (Ethan) and Rylee of Raymond, Travis Wiers (Ashley) of Steep Falls; her second Mom, Kathie Farrington and her “soul sister”, Katelyn Hyde, both of Freeport; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her uncle, David Walker; her son, Ethan Ward; and her mother, Dora Wiers.

A graveside service will be held Sept. 3 at Elmwood Cemetery at 2 p.m., followed by a celebration of her life at her home in Pownal.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her name to a Transplant Organization of your choosing.
