Thomas College Athletics has hired Marc Gosselin as the men’s golf coach. Gosselin has previous experience coaching golf though private instruction along with playing competitively on an amateur golf tour.
New England Cancer Specialists has hired Edwin Graham as its new chief executive officer. Graham brings more than 30 years of experience as a healthcare executive.
Stephen Segal has rejoined Verrill’s Portland office as counsel in its litigation and trial group. Segal represents individuals, businesses and multinational corporations in a wide variety of civil matters. He originally joined Verrill in 2015 after serving as a law clerk to John A. Woodcock of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine. He previously practiced at a law firm with a national presence for approximately one year.
Charles King has joined the Portland law firm of McCloskey, Mina, Cunniff & Frawley, LLC. He will represent clients in the firm’s white collar civil and criminal litigation practice areas. For the past seven years, Charlie has practiced law with a New Orleans firm with a focus on mass tort, commercial and environmental litigation.
Perkins Thompson has hired Melanie Dorn as an associate in the firm’s real estate and government services practice groups. Prior to joining the firm, Melanie held an in-house position in deployment of wireless facilities and broadband infrastructure across the U.S.
PROMOTIONS
Junior Achievement of Maine has promoted Jill Jamison to vice president and Pamela Bennett to program manager. Jamison will direct the operations of the organization across multiple functions including program implementation, development, recruitment and training, and coaching of the team.
Pamela Bennett will manage the program growth and expansion for JA’s learning experiences in Southern Maine and lead volunteer recruitment and retainment efforts.

Northern Maine SCORE named Steve Campbell as its new chapter chair. Campbell will coordinate community outreach, recruiting and the chapter’s small business mentoring and workshop programs.
RECOGNITIONS
The Greater Portland Council of Governments has awarded Guy Mpoyi the community leadership award. Mpoyi, an immigrant from the Democratic Republic of Congo, was recognized for his work teaching new Mainers how to use southern Maine’s public transportation network.
