LYMAN — Nathan Grant Sr. passed away peacefully July 31, 2022, with his family by his side.
Nathan was born in Biddeford, Maine, on March 6, 1938, to Florence Olive Lowell Grant and Harley Grant Sr.
Nathan went to Biddeford schools, and he worked as a cement truck driver for most of his life. Nathan enjoyed spending time with his family, snowmobiling, scratching lottery tickets, and telling corny dad jokes.
Nathan married Gloria Jean Dryden on March 28, 1959. They raised a family of six children.
Nathan is survived by: his wife of 63 years, Gloria Dryden Grant; his children, Lois Grant Labbe and her husband Steve of Arundel, Maine, Nathan Grant Jr and his wife Shannon of Marion, South Carolina, Lisa Grant Drouin and her husband Eric of Lyman, Maine, Charlie Grant and his wife Sherry of Plymouth, Maine, and Jennifer Grant and her significant other Tony Labelle of Saco, Main; and a son-in-law, Russell Wood.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Laura A. Wood. Nathan is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Nathan was one of 16 children, and he is survived by five sisters and five brothers and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by four sisters and one brother.
A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later time.
