BATH — Gavin Biallargeon struck out nine and threw a no-hitter as the Morse baseball team beat Lincoln Academy 11-2 on Monday afternoon.
Biallargeon walked two and allowed two runs on Morse’s three errors.
Braylon Williams notched four RBI and Jason Bussey had three for the Shipbuilders (4-7). Calin Gould, Thomas Guild and Gabe Morrison each tallied two base hits.
Myles Wotton took the loss for Lincoln Academy, which fell to 2-7.
MT. ARARAT 3, BRUNSWICK 0: Mt. Ararat junior Landen Chase pitched a gem, allowing just three hits in five and a third innings of work. Chase struck out two and walked just one. He also helped his own cause with an RBI single as the Eagles improved to 7-3.
Ryan Robertson went 2 for 4 with two doubles and an RBI.
The Dragons dropped to 1-10.
LISBON 20, CARRABEC 1, 5 INNINGS: Mason Booker cracked two doubles and earned the win on the mound as the Greyhounds cruised over the Cobras in a Mountain Valley Conference game in North Anson.
Riley Turner had two hits, including a double, for Lisbon (9-0).
Carrabec fell to 1-7.
SOFTBALL
OAK HILL 25, BOOTHBAY 1: The Raiders (5-4) scored 10 runs in the fourth inning to take down the Seahawks (0-8) in Boothbay.
Ethan Vattaso hit a home run, a double and single to lead Oak Hill to the win. He also pitched 2 2/3 innings, striking out five batters. Jamison Bergeron added two doubles, while Jackson Arbour, Silas Dumont, Trent Drouin and Landon Bangs all notched a double.
Boothbay’s Gryffin Kristan hit an RBI double.
GIRLS LACROSSE
MT. ARARAT 23, EDWARD LITTLE 1: Madison Kinney scored six goals, and freshman Evelyn Goudreau added five as the Eagles rolled past the Red Eddies in Topsham.
Grace Phillips and Elsa Daulerio each scored two goals to lead the Eagles.
Amanda Pickens had four saves for Mt. Ararat.
FREEPORT 15, BRUNSWICK 7: Megan Driscoll registered six goals and two assists to help the Falcons (7-1) beat the Dragons (3-4) in Freeport.
Savannah Tracy added five goals and two assists for Freeport. Kate Tracy posted three goals and three assists, and Mia Levesque scored once. Piper Williams stopped seven shots.
Brunswick’s Elizabeth Putnam tallied four goals. Lydia Blood, Kelsie Carlton and Cece Slocum each had one goal.
