YARMOUTH — Gibby Sullivan had RBI singles in the bottom of the first and again in the sixth to help Yarmouth to a 3-1 baseball win over Poland on Monday.
Hunter Gibson drove in the run for Poland (4-3) with a sacrifice fly in the top of the first.
Liam Hickey allowed just a single in 5 1/3 scoreless innings, fanning eight, to pick up the victory for Yarmouth (5-3).
Andrew Cheever retired all five batters faced, striking out three, to pick up second save of the season.
WELLS 7, CAPE ELIZABETH 6: Spencer Carpenter lined a two-out two-run double and Devin Brown followed with a run-scoring double in the fourth inning as the Warriors (4-4) edged the Capers (3-5) at Wells.
Santiago Fitch-Cury and Carpenter each had a pair of hits for Wells.
Brady Inman and Owen Tighe each had two hits for Cape Elizabeth.
FREEPORT 5, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: Brian Martinez had a two-run home run in the top of the first for the Raiders (1-7), but the Falcons (8-1) answered with a pair in their half of the inning, led by a Robert Landry RBI single, to grab a victory at Freeport.
Nathan Abbott threw a seven-hitter for Freeport, allowing two runs, striking out six and walking a pair. He also had two hits.
GREELY 12, LAKE REGION 2: Marky Axelson opened the scoring for the Rangers (8-1) with a two-run blast in the bottom of the first as they rolled past the Lakers at Cumberland.
Ryan Kolben had a pair of hits for Greely, including a home run in the second inning, and Brooks Williams and Max Cloutier had multiple hit games.
OCEANSIDE 3, LINCOLN ACADEMY 1: The Mariners (3-4) took the lead for good on an RBI double from Alex Bartlett to score Austin Chilles and Duncan Oakes-Nelson scored Bartlett with a run-scoring single as they outlasted the Eagles (1-6) at Newcastle.
Maddox Talis scored on a throwing error for Lincoln Academy in the bottom of the second inning, but Oceanside pulled even on Connor Calderwood’s RBI double in the top of the fifth.
EDWARD LITTLE 10, BRUNSWICK 6: The Red Eddies (4-5) rebounded from a rough start to rally past the Dragons (0-8) in Brunswick.
Edward Little trailed 5-0 after one inning and 6-0 after two, but Brody Keefe relieved and shut down Brunswick the rest of the way, striking out six.
Aiden Gonzalez had three hits, three RBI and two runs for the Red Eddies, who scored two in the fifth, six in the sixth and two in the seventh.
Sam Masse, Thomas Harvey and Declan Lay each had a pair of hits for the Dragons, and Anthony Cooley hit a triple.
YORK 10, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 5: The Wildcats (6-3) scored four runs in the first inning, five in the fifth and beat the Patriots (3-6) at York.
Freshman John Jacobsohn entered in the fifth and pitched three innings, getting the win.
Joe Neal had a two-run single in the fifth as York moved from a 5-4 deficit to a 9-5 lead.
ST. DOMINIC 11, TRAIP ACADEMY 8: Miles Frenette and Tim Ouellette had three hits apiece for the Saints (3-3) as they scored five runs in the top of the seventh and rallied past the Rangers (0-10) at Kittery.
Ryan Bussiere added a pair of hits for St. Dominic.
Quinn Alessi and Cam Maes had two hits apiece for Traip Academy.
MT. ARARAT 4, MESSALONSKEE 3: Landen Chase pitched a six-hitter and Mt. Ararat (5-2) scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat Messalonskee (5-2) in Topsham.
Chase struck out six and walked three. Carson Taylor had two hits with an RBI for Mt. Ararat.

THORNTON ACADEMY 15, MARSHWOOD 4: Noah Veroneau had five goals and added assist for the Golden Trojans (7-1) as they rolled to a 10-2 halftime advantage and cruised past the Hawks (4-3) at Saco.
Ronan Flynn added four goals for Thornton Academy.
SOUTH PORTLAND 24, MASSABESIC 1: Tobey Lappin led the Red Riots (5-1) with three goals and an assist as they grabbed a 14-0 halftime margin and handled the Mustangs (0-6) at South Portland.
Beckett Mehlhorn and CJ Marenghi each added three goals for South Portland.
Gabe Lawrence scored for Massabesic.
TRAIP ACADEMY 9, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 4: Brody Johnson scored six goals as Traip Academy (1-5) earned its first victory in program history, beating the Raiders (2-3) at Kittery and avenging a loss a week ago.
The victory came about a week after the Traip girls’ team also won for the first time in school history. The programs are in their second season.
Traip scored seven goals in the first half and didn’t allow Fryeburg to threaten after that.
Tucker Johnson added two goals and Makili Matty had the other for the Rangers, and Aram Brewer made key defensive plays in front of goalie Sam Thurnith.
MT. ARARAT 7, LEWISTON 5: Kaiden Getchell’s three goals helped the Eagles hold off the Blue Devils in Topsham.
Mt. Ararat jumped to a 2-0 lead after one quarter and stretched it to 4-1 at halftime. Zander Kirk added two goals and an assist, John Martin had a goal and two assists and Jack Gillaman scored the other goal.
Daven Langelier scored a pair of goals for Lewiston, and Liam Hutchinson, Eli Bigelow and Cody Dionne each added one. Hutchinson, Langelier and Dionne each had assists.
