SAD 6 nomination papers due
Nomination papers for five, at-large seats in School Administrative District 6 must be filed by 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, with registrars of voters in the district’s five towns to certify the signatures where they were collected.
Candidates are also responsible for delivering certified papers by 4 p.m. Thursday, March 31, to the SAD 6 Central Office, 94 Main St., Buxton.
The Buxton seat held by Vice Chairperson Nathan Carlow is expiring. One seat each is also available in Frye Island, Hollis, Limington and Standish. The Frye Island post is a one-year term and the others are three years each.
Election Day is June 14.

Help wanted
The Buxton Transfer Station needs part-time help Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The pay is $12.75 an hour for an eight to 24 hour week, and applicants must be at least 16. Applications are available at Town Hall, 185 Portland Road, or the adjacent transfer station.
