WESTBROOK – Philip S. Cilley, 81, of Westbrook, passed away on Feb. 25, 2022 at Northern Lights Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on August 13, 1940 to Bernard S. and Katherine (Maxwell) Cilley, the youngest of seven children.

Philip attended Portland schools. He worked for Forest City Motors for 10 years and Portland Public Works for 26 ½ years, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed gardening, working outside, and woodworking.

Philip was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Bernard and Herbert, three sisters, Bertha, Joanne and Winona; and his son-in-law, Kevin Robichaud.

Philip is survived by his wife of 61 years, Isabelle (Gagne) Cilley; and their daughters Julie and her husband Robert Petretich, and Barbara Robichaud; his three grandchildren, Amanda, Joseph, and Marina; two great-grandchildren; his sister, Jane Sampson; and many nieces and nephews.

Per Philip’s wishes there will not be a formal funeral or wake.
