KITTERY POINT – Sean Patrick Ward, 47, of Lancaster, Pa., died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, in a tragic accident in southern Utah.
Born in Bridgeport, Conn, on Aug. 11, 1974, he was the son of Peter and Patricia Ward. He is survived by his mother Patricia, of Kittery Point, Maine; his twin sister Shannon Swiger and her husband, Terrence, of Kittery Point, Maine; his brother Tim, of Fairfield, Conn; his three nephews, Terrence, Aidan, Brady, and niece, Maggie, whom he loved so dearly. He is predeceased by his father Peter Ward and his oldest brother Scott Ward.
Known as Sean, Seany, Uncle Sean, Patrick, Wardo. Sean had a heart of gold, an infectious smile, and piercing blue eyes. He always managed to get himself up after a fall and make things good again. He was known for going out of his way to help anyone who needed it. Similar to his father, he had tremendous pride in his Irish heritage. He was known to have just a “few” tattoos, some in Gaelic. Sean was happy when he was golfing with his friends. He was doing great as a salesman, and proud of his accomplishments. He loved the Yankees, the Jets, and The Grateful Dead. Beyond all else, he loved his true friends, his nephews and niece, his brothers, twin sister, and parents.
Services will be planned for a later date. For more information, please visit http://www.jspelkeyfuneralhome.com. Care of the Ward family has been entrusted to the J S Pelkey and Son Funeral Home.
