WINDHAM – Sandra Jane (Loring) Richardson, 82, died peacefully on Monday, Jan. 31, 2022 at Ledgewood Manor in Windham with her son and daughter-in-law by her side.

She was born on Jan. 27, 1940 in Gray, the eldest daughter of Frederick H. and Barbara (Fitts) Loring. Sandra grew up in Gray and graduated from Pennell Institute in 1958.

She married Arthur W. Richardson on Sept. 6, 1958 and settled in Windham, raising four sons. For many years she also worked as the bookkeeper for the family business. Sandra was very involved in church activities and taught in a Christian school for several years. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed RV camping with her husband.

Sandra was predeceased by her son, Tony, in 2005; and by her husband, Arthur in 2017.

Surviving are her sons Timothy and his wife Antje, of Casco, Terrence and his wife Iryna, of Windham, and Todd and his wife Pamela, of Raymond; 11 grandchildren, Patrick and his wife Amber, Derick, Timothy, Alyssa, Cameron and his wife Emily, Viktoria, Wesley and his wife Sandy, Raymond, Randal, Megan and her husband Joseph, and Nikole and her husband Andrew; three great-grandchildren, Cayden, Helen and Lucian; and her sisters Elizabeth, Sheila and Linda.

A graveside service will be announced in the springtime, with a Celebration of Life to follow.
