DOVER, N.H. — Emmett Hammond scored his first career goal midway through the first period, and Marshwood/Traip/Sanford/Noble added two goals late in the third period to down York 3-0 Tuesday night in boys’ hockey.
Nate Jalbert and Caden Fontaine scored the late goals for Marshwood (6-8-1), Braden Butler had two assists, and Ben Ott stopped 26 shots for the shutout.
York is 3-6-1.
BASKETBALL
BONNY EAGLE 66, THORNTON ACADEMY 58: Eliot Bouchard scored seven of his 13 points in the third quarter as Bonny Eagle (10-6) extended its lead and went on to defeat Thornton Academy (10-6) at Saco.
The Scots extended a 33-30 halftime lead to 47-41 through three quarters, then held off the Trojans, who won their first meeting.
Hayden Campbell led the Scots with 20 points, Aidan Walcott added 15 and Terrell Edwards 12. Will Davies led Thornton with 18.
SCARBOROUGH 54, MASSABESIC 52: Liam Garriepy scored 23 points for Scarborough (4-13), which stormed back from a 34-23 halftime deficit to defeat Massabesic (6-9) at Waterboro.
Reid Deniso added 10 points for the Red Storm, who needed two nights to double their win total of the season after defeating Cheverus on Monday night.
James Saccuzzo led the Mustangs with 26 points.
FALMOUTH 57, WESTBROOK 44: Brady Coyne’s 20 points and 14 points from Judd Armstrong lifted the Navigators (15-2) over the Blue Blazes (6-10) in Westbrook.
Tyler Hethcoat and Brady Pierce each put up 11 points for Westbrook. Ben Eugley and Kolbyn Dunphy both had 10 points.
MARSHWOOD 51, SANFORD 43: Chris Reuning scored 20 points and Andrew Perry added 18 as the Hawks (11-5) defeated the Spartans (10-4) in Sanford.
Justin Kennedy scored 19 points and Makai Bougie finished with 10 points for Sanford.
SACOPEE VALLEY 56, ISLESBORO 36: Carson Black scored 14 points to help Sacopee Valley (4-12) recover from a slow start and defeat Islesboro (7-5) at South Hiram.
After Islesboro grabbed an 11-2 lead, the Hawks pulled within 14-8 by the end of the first quarter, then took a 25-18 halftime lead and continued to pull away.
Grady Cummings, Jonah Naratil and Jacob Earley added 10 points each for Sacopee. Sam Jagger led the Eagles with 11.
SOUTH PORTLAND 51, GORHAM 39: Jaelen Jackson scored 20 points and JP Estrella added 19 as the Red Riots (16-1) rolled past Gorham (6-11) at South Portland.
The Riots led 31-22 at halftime and Gorham got no closer than six points after that.
Caden Smith led the Rams with 14 points.
OLD ORCHARD BEACH 71, RICHMOND 49: Ricky Delisle scored 25 points, including seven 3-pointers, as Old Orchard Beach (11-6) stopped the Bobcats (7-7) at Richmond.
Landen Johnson added 20 points for the Seagulls, who put the game away with a 24-9 advantage in the third quarter.
Connor Vachon led Richmond with 20 points.
BRUNSWICK 56, MORSE 55: Trevor Gerrish had 14 points, including four in overtime, to lead the Dragons (4-12) over the Shipbuilders (6-9) at Brunswick.
Quinten McCaffrey had 14 points for Brunswick, and Gerrish added eight rebounds.
Gabe Aucoin led Morse with 19 points, and Sawyer Stead scored 16.
PINE TREE ACADEMY 44, TEMPLE ACADEMY 32: Silas Yeaton led the Breakers (7-10) with 18 points as they defeated the Bereans (1-14) at Waterville.
Benjamin Ndamukunda added 12 for Pine Tree Academy.
Nate Corey hit four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points for Temple Academy, and Peyton Records scored 12.
OXFORD HILLS 67, WINDHAM 59: Nick Garrison’s career-high 32 points helped the Eagles (3-14) pull within six in the fourth, but the Vikings (13-3) pulled away for the win in Windham.
Teigan Pelletier led Oxford Hills with 26 points. Colby Dillingham and Eli Soehren had 13 points apiece.
Matthew Fox added 11 points for Windham.
KENNEBUNK 87, NOBLE 72: Joe Kiezulas scored 25 points and Connor Keefe added 23 as the Rams (11-5) rolled past Noble (0-16) at Kennebunk.
Keegan Andrews added 18 points for Kennebunk, which scored at least 22 points in three of the four quarters.
Jamier Rose led Noble with 25 points.
OCEANSIDE 61, LEAVITT 47: Carter Galley scored 23 points to lead the Mariners (13-3) past the Hornets (11-6) in Rockland.
Alex Collins added 15 points for Oceanside, which has won nine straight.
Brett Coburn led Leavitt with 22 points.
