NEW HIRES
OceanView at Falmouth has hired Jeffrey Stewart as general manager of catering and food services. Stewart, of Yarmouth, brings 25 years of professional experience. He previously held positions as executive chef, restaurant general manager, culinary specialist, and sales executive for National Foodservice Distributors.
Dufour Tax Group in Portland has announced two new hires:
Tyler Preston is a graduate of Lake Forest College, where he earned his degree in finance with a minor in mathematics.
Jordan Bilodeau graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in business administration and concentration in finance.
Hugh Jones has been hired as senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Northern Light Health. Jones previously worked for Central Maine Healthcare, where he was vice president of strategy and managed care.
Efficiency Maine has hired Amalia Siegel, Lauren Trapani, Jesse Remillard and Lily McVetty.
Siegel has been hired as Efficiency Maine’s electric vehicle program manager. Previously, she was an Island Fellow with The Island Institute in Isle au Haut.
Trapani has joined the group as a research and data analyst, focusing on data requests, metrics reporting and database configuration.
Remillard joined as senior program manager. He previously held the position of senior engineer and project manager at Energy & Resource Solutions.
McVetty has joined as a program assistant. She is a recent Bowdoin College graduate.
FocusMaine has hired Leo Waterston as program director. Waterston served as program director at Maine Medical Center Research Institute’s Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation.
Telecommunications provider OTELCO has announced the following hires:
Dagmar Klosenski has joined the company as a project manager. Klosenski, of New Gloucester, has over 20 years of professional experience, most recently with Elin Motors, a company that produces electric motors.
Mandee Lincourt was hired as a regional sales manager. Lincourt, of Farmingdale, received her degree from Thomas College.
Dan Morgan joins OTELCO as a senior GIS engineer. Morgan previously worked at Tilson Technology and Sewall.
Nathan Trask has been hired as a senior OSP engineer. Trask, of Phippsburg, previously worked at Spectrum as a construction coordinator III.
Brad LaRou and Chris Wright have been hired as Level 1 outside plant technicians in OTELCO’S Gray office. LaRou, of Portland, previously worked at Spectrum as a field technician III. Wright lives in Gray.
Katherine Higgins and Alexis Bowman have joined Golden Pond Wealth Management as client service associates. Higgins, of Detroit, graduated from Husson University with a master’s degree in business administration. Bowman, of Waterville, graduated from Thomas College, also with a master’s in business administration.
PROMOTIONS
Cross Insurance has promoted Mike Burton to senior vice president and general manager of Cross Benefit Solutions. Burton joined Cross Insurance in 2017, and most recently served as chief sales officer. He is an insurance industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience.
BOARD APPOINTMENTS
Barbara Dacri has been named chair of the board of directors at Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine. Dacri was a longtime executive director of addiction treatment provider Crossroads in Portland. Veronica Serrato has been named vice chair. Serrato is a senior staff attorney at both Volunteer Lawyers Project Inc. and Casa Myrna Vazquez Inc. Emily Ambrose has been named secretary. Ambrose has been a dedicated volunteer helpline advocate at Sexual Assault Response Services and is current director of strategic growth and culture at Energy Circle in Portland.

Derek Rivard has started a new business, Allied Real Estate in North Windham. Rivard was previously a communications technician for 14 years.
