Press Play: Listen to ‘Save Me’ by Genevieve Stokes

Genevieve Stokes doesn’t need to cover other people’s songs, such is the caliber of her original music. However, she has struck gold with her take on Aimee Mann’s “Save Me” which originally appeared on the soundtrack of the 1999 film “Magnolia.”

Stokes, a 2019 graduate of Falmouth High School, released a video for the song on Jan. 12.

Last year, Stokes was signed to Atlantic Records and released the EP “Swimming Lessons.”

Although the pandemic has slowed down touring plans, Stokes is working on new music and alluded to it in a recent Instagram post.
