MaineHealth conducting flu clinic at Buxton Town Hall
A flu clinic is set for 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at Buxton Town Hall, 185 Portland Road. The vaccine is free with proof of insurance.
Those attending the clinic will be required to wear a mask and social distance at all times.
The clinic is administrated by MaineHealth Care At Home. All MaineHealth Care at Home employees, including clinic staff, are required to pass a daily screening to identify any risk of illness prior to the beginning of each shift. Employees are required to follow a strict masking policy to limit any chance of transmission within the organization and also be outfitted with gloves and other equipment necessary to mitigate the risk of transmitting an illness.
All clients of the program will be screened upon arrival for COVID-19, although this is not a primary function of the clinic and should not be utilized in place of proper screening/testing.
For more information or questions about the type of vaccine, contact MaineHealth Care at Home at 1-800-660-4867.
