TITUSVILLE, Fla. – David Carl Smart passed peacefully in Titusville, Florida, on May 29, 2021, at the age of 77.

Dave is survived by his wife Linda Smart, their three children, and their families.

Dave was born in Houlton, Maine, on July 21, 1943, to Carl and Geraldine Dwyer Smart. He graduated from The University of Maine in 1965 with a degree in chemical engineering. He married Linda, his high school sweetheart, and began his career in Millinocket, Maine. He became renowned process engineer. Work eventually took him to Cape Elizabeth, Ohope Beach, N.Z., Scarborough, before retiring in Titusville, Fla., and Orient, Maine.

David was and avid hunter, adventurer, a 32nd degree Mason, and a member of the Kora Shrine Highlanders

A funeral will be scheduled at a date to be determined up in Maine.
