I live in Stroudwater, and I am voting for Zack Barowitz for Portland’s District 3 Charter Commission seat. Zack is a well-known community leader, a person of integrity and respect who practices civility to build consensus.
The opposite is true for Brian Batson. I enthusiastically worked on Brian’s City Council campaign, only to be greatly disappointed. I was shocked to see how fast Batson, once elected, aligned with power, jumping into the city manager’s pocket. Batson did nothing for District 3. And that’s what he’ll do on the Charter Commission: Nothing!
Zack Barowitz is not easily intimidated; he knows the challenges and is ready to engage, study and shape Portland’s existing charter into a document that better serves our diverse city. I invite District 3 voters to join me: Vote for Zack, the proven public servant. Zack Barowitz is the right person to represent District 3 on the Charter Commission.
