KENTS HILL — Megan Driscoll had four goals and one assist, Kate Tracy had three goals and two assists and Meredith Feller had three goals for the Freeport girls lacrosse team in a 9-4 win over Maranacook/Winthrop on Saturday.
The Falcons improve to a 3-0 record on the season, while Maranacook/Winthrop falls to 1-1.
GREELY 19, BRUNSWICK 1: Carley Ferentz scored six goals and added three assists to power the attack for the Rangers (3-2) as they cruised past the host Dragons (3-2) at Brunswick.
Charlotte Taylor had four goals and an assist, Elsa Dean-Muncie added three goals and three assists for Greely, while Abby Taylor and Allie Read both chipped in with a pair of goals.
Kiki Dinsmore was the goal scorer for Brunswick.
MORSE 9, GARDINER 8: Mary LaRochelle scored four goals including the game winner as the Shipbuilders nabbed a win over Gardiner on Friday night in Bath.
Delaney Pascuzzo had two goals for Morse (3-1), while goalie Olivia Chabot made eight saves. Addie Jung, Kassidy Hart, and Wren Tetreault all added a goal apiece.
Lily Diversi paced the Tigers with three goals, and Emma Bourget and Natalie Fossett had two each.
BOYS LACROSSE
GARDINER 9, MT. ARARAT 6: Cam Rizzo scored four goals and had two assists to lead the Tigers over the Eagles in Gardiner.
Chase McLaughlin and Sean Doyle each scored two goals for the Tigers (2-1), while Connor Bell added a goal. Kayden Weston and Cody Dingwell each had an assist.
Eli Schoenburg and Xander Kirk each scored two goals and had an assist for Mt. Ararat (1-5).
BASEBALL
CAPE ELIZABETH 4, MORSE 2: Colin Smith had two hits and scored twice as the Capers (3-3) beat the Shipbuilders (1-3) in Bath.
Hayden Webber earned the win for Cape Elizabeth, allowing two runs (zero earned) in five innings while striking out seven. Curtis Sullivan pitched the final two frames to earn the save.
Ty Knowlton and Brogan Shaw had two hits apiece for Morse. Gabe Aucoin pitched five innings and allowed four runs (one earned) and struck out six.
SOFTBALL
CAPE ELIZABETH 8, MORSE 0: Anna Cornell tossed a one-hitter as the Capers (4-0) shutout the Shipbuilders (2-2) in Bath.
Cornell struck out 13 and didn’t issue any walks. Esme Song, Kathryne Clay, and Cornell all had a double and two hits apiece.
Camdyn Johnson took the loss for Morse, striking out six and walking three in seven innings.
