PORTLAND – Maureen Felice Hannigan, daughter of Martin and Marjorie Hannigan (deceased), born

June 11, 1938, died April 28, 2021 in the Northern Light Mercy Hospital in Portland, surrounded by their wonderful staff.

Our family is eternally grateful for the loving care she received at the Barron Center and Mercy Hospital. Maureen was a Dominican Nun (Sister Marie Mannes) for 15 years teaching in Michigan and Illinois. As a lay person she worked in the Portland school system and at L.L. Bean.

Maureen is survived by her brothers Martin (Rose) and Kevin (Patricia), her sisters, Sheila, Margie (Chet), Sharon (Greg), Kathleen; and 62 nieces and nephews.
