CUMBERLAND — Lily Rawnsley lined a two-run double to fuel a four-run rally in the bottom of the seventh on Tuesday as Greely edged Yarmouth in softball, 16-15.
Rawnsley finished with three hits for Greely (1-2), and Lindsay Eisenhart added a pair of hits, including a two-run single.
Yarmouth (0-1) took a 15-12 lead by scoring eight runs in the sixth inning.
POLAND 11, LAKE REGION 2: Emma Gagne’s five RBI powered the Knights (3-1) to a win over the Lakers (1-2) at Naples.
Gretchen Paradis drove in two for Poland, with Emma Bunyea and Khloe O’Leary each adding one RBI. Paradis struck out seven.
Melissa Mayo had two strikeouts for Lake Region.
SCARBOROUGH 5, PORTLAND 1: Jenna Giguere pitched a three-hitter and Katie Roy, AJ Swett and Mollie Verreault had RBI singles as the Red Storm (2-0) downed the Bulldogs (0-2) at Scarborough.
Sadie Armstrong had two hits and an RBI for Portland.
MOUNTAIN VALLEY 3, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 1: After both teams scored in the first inning, Mountain Valley (1-2) spaced out a couple more runs to take down Spruce Mountain (0-1).
Ali Legere struck out six for the Falcons in the win. Legere also scored a run for Mountain Valley when Gabbie Gallant drove her in. Brooke Brown and Gracie Farnum each scored for Mountain Valley.
The Phoenix were led by Hannah Turcotte’s seven strikeouts. Jaydn Pingree scored for the Phoenix and pitched the last two innings.
LACROSSE
KENNEBUNK 19, BIDDEFORD 2: Lily Schwartzman scored five goals, Emily Archibald had four and Ruby Sliwkowsli and Danielle Gassman each had threek as the Rams (3-0) cruised past the Tigers (1-2) at Biddeford.
Skylar Maloney chipped in with two goals and two assists. Talia Banglamier and Keara Battaglise also scored. Lily Hansen made four saves.
