My name is Claire Anderson and I am 8 years old. I go to Rowe School in Portland and I have a transgender female friend.

I think L.D. 926 is a bad bill because it will make it so I can’t play sports with my friend. Does anyone stop and think about how transgender girls feel about being left out? Everybody likes sports, so they should be able to play.

How would you feel if you couldn’t play the sports you liked anymore with your friends? I play sports with both boys and girls and we all are able to have fun.

In conclusion, this is a bad bill because it leaves people out when we are taught by adults to include everyone in fun things.
