Cheverus seniors Lucia Pompeo, left, Brim Peabody, Neve Cawley and Victoria Bossong sign their respective National Letters of Intent Thursday at a boisterous (and socially distanced) ceremony at Keegan Gymnasium. Pompeo, who was just named the Becky Schaffer Award winner as the state’s premier senior girls’ hockey player, will play field hockey at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. Peabody, an accomplished state champion in the pool, will swim at Bowdoin College. Cawley, who led Cheverus’ girls’ soccer team to greatness from her goalkeeper position, will play soccer at William Smith College in Geneva, New York. Bossong, a record-setting sprinter, will run track at Harvard University.
