Portland Sea Dogs tickets for 12 games in May will go on sale at noon Wednesday.
Season-ticket holders had first crack at tickets on Monday and Tuesday. Team President and General Manager Geoff Iacuessa said over 30 percent of the tickets have been sold, but no games were close to being sold out yet.
The available games are May 4-9 against New Hampshire and May 25-30 versus Hartford. Weeknight games are at 6 p.m.; Saturdays and Sunday at 1 p.m.
Ticket orders will be taken by phone and online only. The Hadlock Field box office is closed for COVID-19 precautions.
Because of COVID-19 restrictions, Hadlock Field will be limited to 28 percent capacity, or 2,087 seats. That may change in future months, which is why the team is selling tickets on a month-to-month basis. Tickets for games in June (8-13 and 22-27) will go on sale in mid-May.
Ticket prices are approximately 55 percent higher – temporarily – at $19 (box), $18 (reserved) and $17 (grandstand) than 2019. Iacuessa said when more fans are allowed in to the ballpark, prices will go down. He also anticipates adding senior citizen and youth discounts later in the season.
Seats will be grouped in pods (ranging from two to eight seats), situated at least 6 feet from other pods. Fans purchasing tickets must buy all the tickets in the pod.
Fans will be required to wear face masks, except when eating and drinking. All concession sales will be ordered by phone, or from Sea Dogs employees, with delivery provided to patrons in their seats.
Tickets can be purchased by phone (207-879-9500) through 5 p.m. or at www.seadogs.com. Fans are encouraged to use mobile ticketing that can be scanned on phones when entering the ballpark, or to print tickets themselves.
