Bidding underway in land trust’s auction
Bidding in Great Works Regional Land Trust’s 2021 spring auction has begun, with preview and bidder registration open until 8 p.m. Saturday.
In addition to bidding on items, supporters have an opportunity to donate to an area of need for the organization. In past years, the “Fund-a-Need” has successfully raised funds for solar panels at Beach Plum Farm in Ogunquit and for improved parking at Negutaquet Conservation Area in North Berwick. This year, Great Works hopes to raise $11,500 toward the purchase of a truck to be used for stewardship activities.
Great Works Regional Land Trust is a member-supported organization providing conservation options to landowners and programs for community members, including 18 preserves with hiking trails. Since 1986, Great Works has conserved nearly 7,000 acres of natural, historic, agricultural, forestry, scenic and recreational resources in southern Maine.
For more details, call 646-3604, email info@gwrlt.org or visit www.gwrlt.org for a link to the auction site or go directly to www.auctria.com/auction/2021GWRLTSpringAuction.
