Yesterday my husband and I were fortunate to receive our second dose of the COVID vaccine at Scarborough Downs. We were waiting out our 15-minute observation time to ensure we were having no immediate adverse reaction from the vaccine.

I leaned into my husband and said if I were a health care worker, I would find this a pleasant place to work. Everyone was so friendly, upbeat and professional.

Kudos to each and every person involved. A hearty “Thank you” to those who are seeing us through to “the light at the end of the tunnel.”
