KENNEBUNK — Emily Archibald scored 23 points to surpass 1,000 points for her career and grabbed a school-record 29 rebounds on Tuesday as Kennebunk topped Biddeford in girls’ basketball, 42-34.

Archibald, who set the school-record for points in a game with 37 against Wells last week, entered the game needing 22 points to reach 1,000.

The Rams improved to 4-0; the Tigers are 0-2.

CHEVERUS 55, DEERING 31: Freshmen Maggie Fitzpatrick and Emma Lizotte combined for 29 points and the host Stags (4-1) beat the Rams (1-3) for their fourth straight win.

The Stags opened up a 20-7 lead in the first quarter. Fitzpatrick had a game-high 17 points and added 13 rebounds, six assists and six steals. Lizotte added 12 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots.

Maya Gayle scored 13 points, including three 3-pointers for Deering.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 53, WAYNFLETE 24: Madilyn Onorato’s 10 points led the Panthers (4-0) to a win over the Flyers (0-1) in Portland. Grace Bila, Angel Huntsman and Lila Jackson all scored eight points for NYA.

WELLS 40, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 31: Grace Ramsdell scored 24 points as the Warriors (3-0) beat the Seagulls (3-1) at Old Orchard Beach.
OOB was led by Elise MacNair with 11 points and Shani Plante with eight.

MASSABESIC 55, SANFORD 38: The Mustangs (3-0) put the Spartans (2-2) in a deep first-quarter hole and cruised to a win at home.
Marissa Holt led all scorers with 16 points for Massabesic. Satyra Duong had nine and Emily Jacobs chipped in with eight.
Sanford’s Tori Parker hit four 3-pointers for 12 points. Abby Toothaker added eight.

PORTLAND 51, FALMOUTH 40: Gemima Motema had 17 points to pace the offense for the Bulldogs (4-1) as they used a 14-7 run coming out of halftime to pullaway from the Yachtsmen (0-3) at Falmouth.
Eliza Stein provided 12 points, all from behind the arc, for Portland, and Amanda Kabantu chipped in with nine.
Anna Turgeon led Falmouth with 22 points; Sloane Ginevan tossed in 13.

GREELY 47, CAPE ELIZABETH 27: The Rangers (2-1) had scoring contributions from 10 players in a home win over the Capers (1-2).
Camille Clement led Greely with 17 points, including four 3-pointers. Abigail Taylor had nine.
Emily Supple led Cape with nine points.

THORNTON ACADEMY 67, BONNY EAGLE 55: Payton Jones and Dylan Griffin combined for 44 points to lead the Trojans (5-1) to a win over the Scots (1-3) at Standish.
Jones scored 25 points and Griffin finished with 19. Anthony Jones and Cody Bowker each had seven for TA.
Jacob Humphrey buried six 3s for Bonny Eagle and scored 28 points. Benjamin Tibbets added eight.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 50, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 43: Wyatt Kenny led the Patriots (1-0) with 14 points as they beat the Raiders (3-4) at Fryeburg.
Jay Hawkes contributed 12 points for Gray-New Gloucester, and Joshua Michaud hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with nine points.

Will Hallam led Fryeburg Academy with 15 points.

KENNEBUNK 61, BIDDEFORD 56: Sam Tartre scored nine of his 20 points in a 23-14 second quarter run as the Rams (2-0) built a 37-28 halftime margin and held off a late charge to beat the Tigers (2-3) at Biddeford.

Adam Lux had 19 points for Kennebunk, and Ian Murray chipped in with 11.

Will Harriman powered Biddeford with 22 points and Ashton Crowell scored 15.

WAYNFLETE 53, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 37: Chris Saade had eight first-half points as the Flyers (4-1) broke to a 33-13 halftime advantage and handled the Panthers (3-1) at Yarmouth.

Saade finished up with 16 points for Waynflete, and Jared Johnson tossed in nine.

Chris Hamblett had 13 of his 17 points in the second half to lead NYA.

WINDHAM 60, WESTBROOK 46: Kaleb Cidre finished with 24 points, including five 3-pointers, and Nick Garrison and Matthew Fox added 12 and 11 points to lead the Eagles (1-2) over Westbrook (0-2) at Windham.

Chuil Bayak led the Blue Blazes with 25 points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots. Kyle McKone added 17 points, including five 3-pointers.

MASSABESIC 51, MARSHWOOD 49: Trevor Beals had 10 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter, including a clutch bucket with 30 seconds to play in regulation to give the Mustangs (1-2) a four-point lead as they held on to edge the Hawks (0-3) at South Berwick.

Aidan Sullivan led Marshwood with 20 points, and Andrew Perry made three 3-pointers and finished with 11.

PORTLAND/DEERING 8, GREELY 1: Lucy Howe had four goals and Caroline Lerch had three as Portland/Deering (3-2) beat Greely (0-2) at Falmouth.

Margaret Smith also notched a goal for Portland/Deering, with Lerch, Jordan King and Mia Merrill each having an assist.
