The format will be a bit different Maine Restaurant Week, being held this year from March 1-12, but as always the unique menus will be something special. Restaurants will offer special items along with their familiar menus and patrons will be able to safely dine in, dine outside in heated areas or take out complete meals. At this writing, 37 restaurants from Ogunquit to Camden are participating and more are signing up each day. In the southern Midcoast, J.R. Maxwell & Co. in Bath is now developing its menu. Gather, in Yarmouth, will be offering a three-course, Italian-inspired menu for two at $46. Cocktails are additional. The dinner includes Classic Caesar Salad, Maine Beef Bolognese or Vegetarian Risotto, and Tiramisu. Reservations at 847-3250.
