With all due respect to Mr. Balentine (Jan. 28, “What’s a conservative to do?”), his way to move forward for his friends is doomed to fail.
For Mr. Balentine to suggest to only listen to like minded people is the biggest problem this country is involved in. Instead of trying to understand and listen to the other side, both sides are dug in and have trouble trying to solve problems for all instead of what is right for my side. Boycotting the other side’s opinion only leads to more division.
“Questions regarding the 2020 election” is an example of this problem. No evidence has been provided to support this question. Because you think something may have happened does not make it a problem that needs to be solved. If there is proof, based on facts, nothing would make me happier, for then we could discuss a problem that exists.
I hope in the future Mr. Balentine will take my advice and study both sides of the issues and better explain his conservative leanings.
