Buxton Town Clerk John Myers reported that 5,344 total ballots were cast in Tuesday’s election representing a 79.68% voter turnout of the town’s 6,702 registered voters. 3,601 ballots were cast absentee and 1,743 in person. Robert Lowell / American Journal
