FALMOUTH — Ellie Nash, a senior at Falmouth High School, has organized a winter boot drive to support clients of Saint Elizabeth’s Pantry in Portland.
“Maine winters are brutal and frigid (and) many people don’t have access to proper winter gear,” Nash says on her GoFundMe page. The effort is Nash’s senior project and, as of Tuesday morning, donors had pledged $1,540 to help reach Nash’s $1,700 goal. There is also donation box in the lobby at the high school. New boots of all sizes are needed.
