TURNER — Ginny Twitchell’s goal midway through the first overtime gave Leavitt a 3-2 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference high school field hockey win over Morse on Thursday.
Macey Coffin tallied both goals for the Shipbuilders (2-1), including the tying goal late in regulation.
Keriah Marston and Kayla Leclerc also scored for the 2-1 Hornets.
Grace Hawkes had seven saves in the Morse cage, while Leavitt’s Paige DeMascio had eight stops.
Morse visits Lawrence on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Brunswick 1
Alexis Michonski scored four goals, including the opening goal just 1:48 into the game, as Skowhegan rolled in the KVAC contest.
Emily Reichenbach added a hat trick, while Breagh Kennedy and Brooklyn Hubbard also scored.
Abbie Belanger scored the lone Brunswick (0-2) goal off assists from Kelsey Sullivan and Grace Casey.
Meredith Mitchell picked up two helpers for Skowhegan (4-0).

Girls soccer
NORTH ANSON — Sarah Olson and Cheyenne Cahill scored a goal each to lift Carrabec to a 2-1 Mountain Valley Conference victory over visiting Lisbon.
Giana Russo had the goal for the Greyhounds, who fell to 1-2 and host Hall-Dale on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Cassidy Smith and Aislinn Slate each tallied an assist for the 1-1 Cobras.
