Editor,
It’s hard to ignore the vile, racist tweets being composed almost daily by the current occupant of the White House.
But I choose to do so to save my sanity, or what’s left of it after the Blowhard-in-Chief continues to assault my intelligence every time he opens his mouth or expresses his opinions.
May I point out though that the reason he cites for his racist attacks via Twitter on four freshmen Democrat congresswomen was because, in his words, mind you, “they said some very bad and horrible things about our country.”
Then he turns around and he himself says some very bad and horrible things about the cities of Baltimore and San Francisco.
Look up hypocrite in the dictionary and it says “someone who preaches against one thing and then does exactly the same thing.”
Isn’t it time to put hypocrisy behind us for good? We should all expect more for our elected leaders.
