Rusty is a happy boy in search of his forever home. He loves to run and play but will insist on being regularly scratched and loved on.
We think he is an Alaskan Husky mix. At six years old, he has plenty of energy and love to give. Because of his abundant zest for life, our dog care team thinks he will be an excellent hiking buddy. He is great on leash and is very affectionate. We are not sure of how he is with cats, not knowing that part of his history, but we suggest older kids only if there are children in the home. From now through July 31, adoption fees for Midcoast Humane adult dogs one year and older are their weight. Rusty weighs in at 76 pounds, so his adoption fee is just $76.
