Flag Day flag burning
The Stephen W.Manchester Post 62 of the American Legion will burn worn, tattered and unwanted flags at noon on Friday, June 14, in Riverbank Park on Main Street.
Individuals wishing to properly dispose of flags are welcome to bring them. For more information, call the post at 856-7152.
Senior citizens to travel
Westbrook Senior Citizens are planning two trips. The group will visit Cabbage Island on Sunday, July 7, and take a fall foliage trip on Tuesday, Oct. 1. For more information, call 854-2705.
Free concerts begin in July
The free summer series of weekly concerts on Wednesday evenings will begin on July 3 and continue through Aug. 2 at Riverbank Park.
The country band American Ride kicks off the series on the eve of July 4.
