It was a bit chilly on Saturday at mid-morning but those at the beach were enjoying sunny skies and the promise of summer to come. With the Victoria Day weekend in all of Canada – and  a holiday called Journée nationale des patriotes  in Quebec, the weekend is the traditional first opportunity for those who call the  “La Belle Province” home to make the journey to Old Orchard Beach.
