BUXTON — Police Officers in Buxton have received information about possible scam phone calls being made to residents of the area.

The number being used comes back to Ocean City, Maryland, police say.

If you receive a phone call from 1-410-213-3004, and they want information on behalf of the Social Security Administration, it is a scam.

Do not give out any personal information and report the call to your local law enforcement agency, police said.
