A round of applause for all nurses!
It’s with great pride that I honor my fellow nurses during National Nurses Week, which begins on May 6, and ends on May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale. During this week, I especially want to recognize the outstanding nurses at Home Health Foundation, Circle Home and Hallmark Health VNA and Hospice. They are renowned for the expert medical care and the support they provide to our patients and their families and are recognized for their innovation, dedication and clinical expertise. They calm fears, foster hope, and provide reassurance – all in the comfort and security of the patient’s home.
Today, as we continue to transform home-based care as a member of the Wellforce health system, our nurses’ leadership and spirit of collaboration are evident across our agencies. Working together, they’re helping to build upon our already exceptional clinical centers of excellence while setting a new standard for home health and hospice care. Their dedication to our mission of quality care and compassion is both heartwarming and inspiring. I’m proud to work alongside them every day as we serve our community with distinction.
During National Nurses Week, I hope you will join me in paying tribute to this esteemed group of professionals. They have a passion for their work and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients every day.
