SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Tara Levesque of Buxton was one of 54 interns who completed the Clinic Challenge Experience during the spring 2019 quarter at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Clinic Challenge Experience was designed to help students make a successful transition from classroom to chiropractic internship by sharpening their professional focus, energizing their passion for chiropractic and exposing them to success principles for practice.

The ropes course on Sherman College’s campus consists of a variety of “challenges by choice” using ropes, pulleys, walls, platforms, poles, all of which present students with the opportunity to use problem-solving skills and teamwork. Facilitators and teammates encourage participants to face and overcome whatever fears are blocking their ability to accomplish the tasks.

Sherman College of Chiropractic provides students with a comprehensive education, preparing them to enter the field as doctors of chiropractic who are highly skilled, compassionate, ethical and successful. On its 80-acre campus in South Carolina, Sherman offers a first professional degree program unique in its approach to health care and known globally for the skill and art of chiropractic delivered by graduates.

The college’s on-campus Health Center, where senior students intern under licensed doctors of chiropractic, provides quality and affordable chiropractic care to the local community with nearly 30,000 visits each year.
