Auditions for “The Drowsy Chaperone” are nearing at City Theater in Biddeford.

They will be casting eight men and five women plus an ensemble in what has been called one of the top 10 funniest musicals ever on Broadway.

Those interested in auditioning are asked to bring a 32 bar cut of a musical theater song and clothes you can dance in.

Auditions are at 6:30 p.m. April 22 and April 23.
